The pool and the grounds at Tandala
are beautiful. A lovely treat for me was
the chance to see baobab trees in full leafy bloom. Tandala has several large baobabs near the
main lodge. The flowers were just about
done but I did get to snap a photo of a not too dead one…..they are very
impressive if a bit on the stinky side.
Now the pool is lovely and
refreshing but not without neighbors…the skink in the photo below [at least it
looks like what we called a skink when they were brought in the house by the
kids] dropped on my back from the roof of the pool veranda….these kinds of
neighbors make dozing by the pool a bit problematic for me.
